Buzz Vs. Wave
As everyone knows it is all Google when it comes to web searches and web based tools, but sometimes it seems that they add new products so quickly that it can be hard to know which ones are right for you. Very recently Google added Buzz to their list of new goodies and this was an exciting addition to the super company’s bag of tricks.
If you are not a Google user, and have no idea on what Buzz is about here is a brief synopsis. Buzz is a social site networking site that offers a similar experience to the one that you find at Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. With Buzz, the user can go on the internet and post images, status information and communicate with friends and family. The online communication of Buzz is similar to what you would experience through instant messaging, and although this is an extremely new feature, it is gaining more and more popularity among those that are frequent users to the other media websites.
The Google Wave is very similar to Buzz, except it is designed more for collaboration instead of communication and catching up with friends. Wave is based on real time and allows those that you are communicating with to read what you are typing while you are typing it. Wave is great to use for business meetings, planning a family gather and even working on a school project with a groups. Wave allows the user to bounce ideas back and forth in order to complete a certain task.
Almost the equivalent of an online conference call the Wave is perhaps the newest wave in internet communication. Google is not only the leader of search results, but it also serves as one of the most innovative creators of web tools and devices and the Wave and Buzz are o exception.
Google works hard to keep up with consumer demand and does a great job of not only meeting expectations but exceeding them. The leader in online happenings, Google has most definitely earned its reputation.
