They will place that score in a proper position on a paper score sheet, which is then folded and put in a traveling board. The game is over when the board is placed on the next table and the same procedure is followed.
When the session is over all the score sheets go to the director of the session. This person is responsible for tallying all the score and declaring the winners. It is very important that the proper scoring equipment be used to avoid errors.
There are records of these bridge sessions that have ended with disputes and hard feelings due to improper recording of a player’s scores.
