John - what results specifically could one expect from article marketing alone?

Let's say a moderately competitive niche (not vi-agra or something), but maybe something like "babysitting services" for example.

Let's say I had a brand new site and did all of the right things with on page optimisation (titles, h1, density etc etc)

Then the ONLY off page optimisation I did was with article marketing following your tips.

What is your opinion on how far up the SERPS such a site could get with such promotion and what type of PR could it expect? Let's say in a 6 month time line?

=================================================
Hi Jamdo, thanks for your question. I would expect you could get at least a PR 3 within 6 months. But more importantly you would also generate natural traffic from people looking for baby sitting services in particular locations. If I were you I'd be a bit more specfic with the keyword phrase that you optimise for. eg. Sydney babysitting service rather than just babysitting service.
